Our Aim
The vision of the Society is ‘Equal access, oral health for all’. The Society and its members aim to achieve this by:
Advocacy
Engaging with key stakeholders and responding to relevant policies, to promote and preserve the oral health of people with disabilities in Ireland
Community
Promoting and encouraging diversity within our membership, engaging with our members through multiple media sources and online resources, while encouraging regular networking at our annual conference and webinars, to encourage the exchange of knowledge of the dental needs and treatment for people requiring special care dentistry.
Education
Promoting both undergraduate and postgraduate education and training in special care dentistry
