Vital pulp treatment (VPT) is an especially valuable treatment option for people with disabilities. It is a minimally invasive, biologically based dental restorative solution that can be used to maintain teeth and their vitality. The aim of this interactive presentation was to give attendees an introduction to VPT from a scientific and practical viewpoint in relation to its use among people with disabilities. This Webinar was delivered by an international expert on VPT: Dr Hal Duncan. Hal is a Consultant in Endodontics in the Dublin Dental University Hospital and Trinity College Dublin, and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. He has an impressive list of publications regarding biological management of pulp disease. He is a veritable expert in this field and we were delighted for the ISDH learning community to learn from the best.
