We are excited to announce the first of a series of ISDH webinars over the coming months, exploring key topics relevant to our Irish community in special care dentistry.

This session explores the role of clinical hypnotherapy in managing special care patients and those with dental anxiety or phobia. Attendees will be introduced to effective communication strategies and a deeper understanding of how the subconscious may influence behaviour in the dental setting. The talk will cover practical suggestions suitable during intravenous (IV) and inhalation sedation (IHS). We are proud to have Dr. Munir Ravalia present on this topic.

Dr. Munir works with patients who have extreme anxiety/dental phobia. He works with them both inside and outside the clinical environment. He works at the Royal London Hospital in the department of special care dentistry, aswell as in general practice and lectures globally on clinical hypnotherapy
